hese nine days of adventure will take you searching for primates deep into Kibale forest, birding spree in Kibale, Semuliki and Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) with over 640 species recorded in this park alone. A visit to the Sempaya hot springs, the Batwa and Bamaga communities is all enthralling.
Enjoy the scenic beauty of the savannah and its wildlife which includes elephants, water buffalo, lions, Spotted Hyenas, Ugandan Kob, and over 640 bird species—– the highest number in any African park. QENP is a biosphere reserve and a Ramsar site and it was voted by Lonely Planet as Best animal adventures for families in November 2015.
The park is also home to the largest population of lions, elephants and hippos in the country. Basically this safari has a bit of everything and is recommendable to anyone.
Includes: Accommodation, Meals as per the itinerary, Chimp permit for Kibale, National Park entry fees, Game drive on northern side, Cruise on the Kazinga Channel and private 4×4 ground transport with an English speaking driver guide.

Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you will be cordially receive by your professional Stream Safaris driver guide who will transfer you to Kampala for your overnight stay.

Depart for western Uganda in the morning, reaching the bustling hilly town of Fort Portal for lunch. Afterwards, we will continue to Kibale Forest National Park for a Nocturnal Walk tracking the Galagos, Bush babies, Pottos and the Night Jars with the use of Flashlights.

Following breakfast, the day holds the thrill of a half-day primate walk in the forest searching for the Chimpanzee, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys, Red Colobus (an endemic species only found in this forest in Uganda) among others.
With over 335 bird species recorded in this virgin rainforest some of which are endemics of this region of the Albertine Rift valley, Kibale is a hot spot for birders. After the trek return to your lodge for lunch before taking a nature walk in the Bigodi Swamp. Bigodi is rich in biodiversity and accompanying bird-life like the Blue Turaco. The wetland offers surprises like the endangered swamp antelope Sitatunga, mongoose, civet cats and bushbucks. Return to Ndali Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

After breakfast you will set off for Semuliki Valley National Park. Drive through Fort Portal making an en route stop at Nyakasura to check out the Mabere ga Nyinamwiru and the startling crater beauty of this area. Proceed through the snaky roads and the beautiful hilly countryside of Bundibujo before arriving at Semliki Safari Lodge for your overnight.

Early breakfast and then proceed to Semuliki Game reserve. The waiting morning boat trip to Lake Albert is the highlight of the day. Search for the rare Shoe Billed Stork and other birds of interest like rare Piping Hornbill and the Black dwarf hornbill. Semuliki National Park is very famous for its unique Central African avifauna and it’s a fancied destination for many bird lovers.
In the afternoon visit the Sempaya hot springs and later return to your lodge and relax by the poolside before dinner. A night game drive can also be arranged.

Today you will enjoy your breakfast at leisure before visiting the Bamaga and Batwa communities. Until the 21st Century the Batwa were forest dwellers and survived by gathering food and hunting in the forest. The Batwa have since been resettled and are being helped to adapt to staying in houses and among people. After the Batwa treat you will transfer to Fort Portal for your overnight rest.

Breakfast at leisure and spend the late morning recuperating. After lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving through Kasese town where you will be able to get a great view of the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive at your destination with an evening game drive on the northern circuits or the crater areas. Be on the lookout for the different wildlife species like the elephant, lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, spotted hyena, among others.

Travel Time: 3 hours.
You will be out of bed early enough to prepare for the morning game drive that starts at 0630 hours. After a hot cup of tea or coffee drive out of the lodge heading to the Kasenyi track where the cats are usually sighted before they retreat to the thickets after sunrise. Enjoy the beautiful African sunrise as you journeying to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for an exquisite opportunity to view the early morning wildlife in action.
Game includes large cats, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and plenty of birds. Early morning game drives provide an excellent chance to see the park’s wildlife at close range. Afterward, we will drive back to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon cruise on the Kazinga channel in search of solitary buffalo, elephants, hippo, and many other animals. The Kazinga Channel is believed to have the largest concentration of hippos in Africa. The channel is also a favorite of local and European migratory birds. The park is a biosphere reserve and Ramsar site.

Breakfast at leisure before embarking on your drive back to Kampala but this time going through Bushenyi, Mbarara and Masaka before reaching Kampala or Entebbe where you will be dropped off.
You will make an en route stop at the equator to take pictures and grab a memento.
